- Information about the property and your requirements, so that we can provide a quote and carry out our services.
- Information needed to deliver and invoice our services if you instruct us.
How We Use It
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, carry out and invoice our services, keep records required by RICS and our insurers, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.
Legal Basis
We process your information where it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract with you, to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, or for our legitimate interests in running the business.
Sharing Your Information
We only share your information where necessary, for example with our professional indemnity insurers, IT and website service providers, or where required by law or by RICS. Survey reports are provided to you and are not shared with third parties without your agreement.
How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiry information for up to 12 months if you do not instruct us. Where you do instruct us, we keep records for 15 years in line with professional indemnity insurance and limitation requirements.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
